The Special Operations Section is a part of the uniformed Patrol Division and is responsible for special event planning, Traffic Enforcement Unit, Volunteers, AmeriCorps Clearwater, Patrol Support Team, School Resource Officers, Hispanic Outreach, off-duty police employment, the Reserve and Auxiliary Program, and street solicitation permits.
